Who we are
LiNQable is a hiring platform operated by BLiNQsvc (“we”, “us”, “our”), a Nevada business that places hospitality, retail, and QSR workers at partner companies including airport concessions, restaurants, and retail venues. We act as a service provider to those partner companies (the actual employers).
Our role with the I-9 — we don't store your government IDs
By default, we don't participate in the I-9 process at all. The partner company that hires you handles Section 1 (your portion) directly with you and Section 2 inside their own payroll system or HR provider. LiNQable does not collect, store, or process any I-9 record under this default arrangement.
Some partner companies engage our optional Authorized Representative service. When they do — and only then — under USCIS Handbook M-274:
- —We meet you in personto inspect your identity and work-authorization documents (driver's license, passport, Social Security card, etc.).
- —We do not photograph, scan, copy, or otherwise store those documents. They stay in your hands.
- —Section 2 of the I-9 form is completed either by us inside the partner company's payroll system (ADP, Gusto, Paychex, Rippling, Workday, or QuickBooks Payroll), or handed back to the partner company's HR team to complete themselves.
- —The completed I-9 lives in the partner company's payroll system — not on our servers.
In neither case do we collect your Social Security number, date of birth, full street address, citizenship status, or work-authorization expiration date through our platform. Those fields appear on the I-9 form itself, which you complete in the partner company's payroll system.
What we collect
We collect the following categories of information from candidates:
- —Contact information: name, email, phone number.
- —Application materials: resume (PDF), work history, references.
- —Pre-screen responses (availability, transportation, basic role-fit questions).
- —Operational credentialsrequired for the role you're hired into: food handler card, alcohol service / TAM card (for bartenders and alcohol-serving roles), TSA SIDA badge photo (for airport hires). We store the credential number and expiration date permanently for renewal tracking; the image itself is auto-deleted after a 30-day transit window (longer for SIDA badge photos, kept until the badge is issued).
- —Verification attestation (only if your partner company engaged our optional AR service): the date, location, and authorized rep name for your in-person I-9 verification — not the underlying ID images. This is our compliance audit trail proving we did what we said we did.
- —Communications: every SMS and email between LiNQable and you.
How we use it
- —To match you with open roles at our partner companies.
- —If your partner company engaged our optional Authorized Representative service: to coordinate the in-person I-9 verification step we perform on their behalf.
- —To forward your operational credentials (food handler / alcohol / badge cards) to the partner company's designated hiring manager.
- —To coordinate airport processing (TSA SIDA badge issuance).
- —To send hiring updates via SMS and email.
- —To track credential expirations and alert you and the partner company when renewals are due.
Who we share it with
- —The partner company hiring you (manager, owner, HR, badging contacts) — they receive your contact info, resume, pre-screen responses, and operational credential files via email.
- —The partner company's payroll system (ADP, Gusto, Paychex, Rippling, Workday, QuickBooks Payroll) — this is where your I-9 form lives. If your partner company engaged our optional AR service, we may sign Section 2 inside their system on their behalf; otherwise the partner company completes Section 2 themselves. Either way, the I-9 record itself is held by the partner company through their payroll vendor, not by us.
- —For airport hires: the airport authority that issues your SIDA badge (e.g., HMS Host for LAS) — they require a badge photo as part of badge issuance.
- —Service providers we use to operate (Twilio for SMS, Resend for email, Vercel for hosting, Neon for database, Anthropic for AI scoring of resumes, Vercel Blob for transit-window credential file storage).
- —Government agencies when required (TSA background screening for airport hires).
We do not sell your information. We do not use your information for advertising.
How long we keep it
- —I-9 forms and government ID documents:we don't keep them at all. The I-9 is held by the partner company through their payroll system, per federal retention requirements (3 years after hire or 1 year after termination, whichever is later). Government IDs are never digitally captured by us in the first place.
- —Operational credential images (food handler / alcohol / badge cards): auto-deleted from our systems after a 30-day transit window. SIDA badge photos are an exception — kept until the badge is issued (typically 4-8 weeks), then deleted.
- —Operational credential metadata (credential number, expiration date, delivery audit log): retained for the life of your application record so we can alert on renewals and prove compliance.
- —Verification attestation records (date, location, AR who verified) — only created if your partner company engaged our optional AR service: retained for the life of your application record as audit evidence for our AR obligations.
- —Resumes and pre-screen responses: kept for up to 2 years after your last activity, in case a future role becomes a fit.
- —Bulk-uploaded resumes (not moved into a pipeline): deleted automatically after 30 days. Resumes that you move into a candidate pipeline are retained per the standard 2-year rule above.
- —SMS / email communications:retained for the duration of the partner company's record-keeping requirements (typically the term of employment plus 4 years).
SMS / Text messaging
When you apply for a role through one of our partner companies (Indeed, etc.), you consent to receive SMS messages from LiNQable about that hiring process. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out — Twilio will mark your number as unsubscribed and we will stop sending you SMS.
Reply HELP for help. Frequency varies depending on where you are in the hiring process (typically 5–10 messages over a 2-4 week window).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export the information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@linqable.io. We'll respond within 30 days.
Note that we hold relatively little personal data on you compared to a typical employer- side hiring platform — we're only the screening + hand-off coordination layer (plus, in some engagements, the AR verification layer). We are never the I-9 custodian. For requests about the I-9 itself, contact the partner company that hired you; they hold that record in their payroll system.
Security
Operational credential files in their 30-day transit window are stored encrypted at rest in Vercel Blob. Database connections are TLS-only. Access to candidate data is limited to authorized LiNQable staff and the partner company employees who need it (manager, HR, badging contacts).
We minimize what we collect specifically to reduce the impact of any security incident: we don't store I-9 forms, government IDs, SSNs, DOBs, or full addresses, so even in a worst-case breach scenario the sensitive employment data lives elsewhere (in the partner company's payroll system) — not on our servers.
Cookies and analytics
LiNQable does not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising trackers. We use Vercel Analytics, a privacy-focused service that aggregates anonymous traffic patterns (page views, response times) without setting cookies on your browser or collecting personal information about individual visitors.
When you sign in to the admin dashboard, we use a single first-party session cookie (NextAuth) to keep you logged in for the duration of your session. This cookie is not shared with anyone.
Children
LiNQable is intended for job-seeking adults age 18+. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
